I am an AI/ML-Engineer with over 14 years of freelancing experience focusing on search engines, NLP & AI. I have worked with such clients as IBM, Goldman Sachs, Telefónica, and DuckDuckGo.

Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing (NLP) from the University of Cambridge. Recently studied & completed “AI System Architecture and LLM Applications” module as part of a professional education course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.)

I have had recent hands-on experience with NLP and LLMs through my projects at CredCore and Jurelei. I am well-versed with Azure & AWS, having worked as a Sr. Backend Engineer and Release Engineer at DuckDuckGo, which had a sizeable AWS deployment which I helped move to Azure while I was there. It served >100M search requests daily.

I am a TÜV-Certified Data Protection Officer and Auditor, and have frequently done projects in highly regulated environments handling sensitive data, e.g. privacy-conscious search engine DuckDuckGo, and regulated telecomms like Telefónica and the Korek (Flowminder).

Legaltech, AI in law and document intelligence are special areas of interest for me.
